Paraplanner and LPL Registered Sales Assistant

JACOB SPENT THE LAST DECADE COLLABORATING WITH FINANCIAL PROFESSIONALS IN HELPING THIER CLIENTS TOWARDS ACCUMULATING AND PRESERVING WEALTH.

Jacob first started in the industry in 2012 with Ameriprise Financial. Working at Ameriprise, he learned the importance of holistic financial planning. He took that knowledge and experience with him as he transitioned to Northwestern Mutual. Northwestern Mutual taught him that asset accumulation for future use is critical. If you do not prepare yourself along the way, unforeseen events can derail the journey quickly.

While at Northwestern Mutual, Jacob worked tirelessly to obtain the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation and the Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®) designation. These two designations helped prepare Jacob to answer the increasingly complicated administrative questions facing individuals and families today.

Since 2017 Jacob has worked with David S. Dixon, CFP® at Dixon Financial Group, LLC, helping David with administrative aspects of financial planning. Jacob's primary role is assisting David with our clients' Retirement Income Plans. These plans show clients how their current income is used for retirement income. Both David and Jacob strongly believe that utilizing investments that pay dividends increases the likelihood of growth and provides a Real Return for each client.

As a husband and father, Jacob genuinely appreciates time spent with his family. Jacob met his beautiful wife Breanne (Bre) in 2009, and six months later, they were married. Jacob and Bre have four beautiful children: Benjamin, Emma, Noah, and Navy. Jacob is native to Southern Nevada, and Bre is from Southwest Idaho. Jacob makes a point to attend each of his children's sporting and school events and celebrate each of their successes.

Jacob enjoys spending time with each of his children. He encourages the older kids through workouts in the home gym, plays ABC Mouse with his youngest, and is always up for a family game of pickleball at the park.

Every morning you can find Jacob either out on the road or running on his treadmill. Running and completing his first half marathon (Revel Mt. Charleston) this year gave him a renewed outlook, and Jacob now runs to remind himself that he can overcome challenges daily.
