Tamara Schnieder

Hello! I joined Dixon Financial Group in a unique way – I was actually a client first, along with my husband, Todd. We had been with DFG for several years, and in March 2022, the opportunity came up to join the team on the other side of the table.

I genuinely enjoy working at DFG (PFG). It's been amazing getting to know our clients on a more personal level and using my skills to help the company grow. One of my first projects was revamping and relaunching our website. I continue to keep it fresh with new content, including our weekly blog posts.

Outside work, I love hiking trails solo or with my husband, Todd, and our pup, Powder. We also enjoy road trips – especially to South Dakota to visit family and down to Zion and Flagstaff for stunning hikes and delicious food.  Our relaxing mornings, spent having coffee on the deck, have transformed into early morning walks at the park to beat the summer heat - that's okay; our hearts are happy!

Speaking of Todd, we've been married for 34 years and have called Las Vegas home for over 29 years. He grew up in Wyoming, while I'm a California native. We met as neighbors in Santa Ana, CA, back in 1989! Shortly after our wedding, we moved to South Dakota in 1992, but after four and a half years, the sunshine called us back, and we relocated to Las Vegas.

We have two grown sons and a daughter, and our family continues to grow! We are Bop Bop and Mop Mop to four grandkids, the eldest being 17, and the youngest will be two in November (She shares a birthday with Bop).
